I don’t look at art as a monetary investment - gambling on the artist/art increasing in value over the years. Art, for me, is a personal expression - a smile in a dull day, a welcoming friend when you come home, or a stimulus that subtly perks you up and makes you feel creative and energized.
Art is an investment in your emotional and psychological well-being. It improves your environment. It makes you feel good and symbolizes your personality.
Whether it is in your home or office, the art that you hang on your walls, says who you are or how you feel about yourself. If your art makes you feel energized or secure or happy, it was a good investment.
The art you choose to share your life with becomes a part of who you are!
