Orange is being touted as The Color. To confirm this, just look at all the new car ads which have started running in the last few weeks - they are using mostly orange models!
Why is orange being used so much? Feng Shui identifies it as a social color. It’s stimulates conversations and good times when used in your home, and your car is an extension of you living area, isn’t it? But, there’s more.
Orange stimulates (it’s a fire color element) and in it’s coppery, terracotta shades being used in the autos, it has a friendly but fiery meaning. It suggests excitement and fun. It attracts us and makes us feel comfortable and combines warmth with excitement. But, there’s still more.
Feng shui sees orange as a color to stimulate concentration and a sense of purpose. This might indicated that it would be good in an office. It certainly helps in an ad, where they want you to concentrate on the car and go out and buy it.
Use orange in your home. Artwork can add just that touch of orange that can add warmth, zest and excitement to your room.
Tip: Hues of orange include terracotta, salmon, peach, coral, etc. Peach shades are very flattering to light skin tones.
